1. The Side Braid

The side braid is a breezy, boho take on its more polished sister. It can also transform a bad hair day into an awesome one. First, spritz your hair with an anti-frizz spray. Then loosely pull hair over to one side. Separate into three sections and follow the pattern: Right over middle, left over middle. When you reach the bottom, secure with your fave elastic.

2. The Mod Bun

This is a super easy polished look for an interview or when you’re feeling posh. Spray your roots with a dry shampoo or thickening spray before placing your hair into a high ponytail. Then wrap your hair into a bun, securing with bobby pins or an elastic band. With the end of your comb, lift the roots at the top of your head to give some height. Add a hairband for extra flair.

3. The Half-Up

For a flirty, summery look, try the half-up. First, tease your roots with a comb. Pull a section of hair on each side up and back, securing with a small elastic. Leave it as a ponytail, or take the top section and separate into two pieces, tie them in a knot and secure them to the base of the ponytail. Finish off with a holding spray.

4. High Ponytail

This is a chic look for a night out with your squad that’s super easy to pull off. Spritz your roots with a thickening spray for some texture. This allows your ponytail to stay in place all day long. Next, pull your hair up — not back — towards the crown of your head. Don’t be afraid to take that ponytail high. Once you have found the perfect ponytail placement, secure it with an elastic band.

5. Beachy Waves

Achieving easy breezy beachy waves is easier than you think! First, skip brushing your hair as soon as you step out of the shower. Instead treat your hair with a beach wave spray or spray gel to create texture. Then blow dry your mane with a diffuser, keeping your hair still to preserve the curls. Afterwards, to keep your natural waves in place, apply anti-frizz cream.

6. The Side Twist

For a simple, elegant look, your best bet is the side twist. If your hair is on the finer side, use a thickening spray or mousse first. Next, section out a small one-inch piece of hair from one side and twist it away from your face. Secure with bobbi pins on a diagonal for a more casual look. For something more fancy, use a small, decorative clip. Finish off the look with a finishing spray to hold it in place.
