2017 literally just started, and Zayn Malik has already kicked it off in a big way. Fresh off dropping his huge tune “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” with Taylor Swift for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, the now-solo singer has revealed his collaboration with mega shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

Zayn’s been wracking up the fashion awards since leaving One Direction—#21 on GQ‘s Best Dressed Men list and winning Attitude magazine’s Best Dressed Man of 2016—and was also tapped by Donatella Versace herself to design a Versus Versace collection. It’s only fitting that he dips his toe into the footwear world as well. (See what we did there? Shoe humor for the win.)
You can see here how the four different styles transformed from just sketches to the final product. The JAVAAD (Zayn’s middle name) is a cool mix between a sneaker and a boot.

Next up is The ZIGI, a blend between a Chelsea boot and a motorcycle boot. Bet you can’t guess what that one is named after.
Third is The TAZ, a cool olive green sneaker with a stark white sole.
And lastly, The YASR is a black ankle boot, most likely named after Zayn’s father.
Zayn told Vogue, “I’m always sketching down ideas and designs. I draw and paint a lot, so when it came to the shoes, I think that the ideas were already in my mind, somewhere.” He explains that fashion, like music, “reaches everyone,” and he loves using fashion as another creative outlet.
Giuseppe Zanotti said, “When I saw [Zayn], I said to myself: ‘He is a cool guy and the epitome of a modern rebel.'”
The shoes are (unfortunately for us) priced between $795 and $1,295. They will be available later this month.
