Claudia Sulewski: Look for Less

Dress like your favorite Youtuber

I don’t know about ya’ll, but I have an unhealthy obsession with Claudia Sulewski, so I had no problem spending some quality time stalking her instagram for some inspiration.

And because it is “Fall“, but also 90 degrees in Los Angeles, I chose yet another “Fall” looking outfit, but like… with short shorts. Because it’s really freaking hot out.

I also LOVE tights with knee high socks and boot heels so I was immediately drawn to this. And because I love them so much, I already had a pretty good idea of where to get them.

I picked up a pack of tights ($5.99) at H&M. The over the knee socks ($9.99), and the boots ($34.99) were both from H&M, too! Easy peasy.

The shirt can literally be any white t shirt you already have in your closet. For example, I had multiple things I could have used, but for the purposes of this article, I decided to find something out there in the real world. So I went in to Forever 21, grabbed the first white tank top I saw ($1.90), and ba-da-bing ba-da-boom!

This jacket is where I struggled a little. First, I couldn’t tell if it was a black denim jacket or a black corduroy jacket. I asked a couple of friends what they thought, and once I established it easily could be either I made the executive decision to find a black corduroy jacket because corduroy is the best.

Now, I’ll have you know that very few places had either option. A few places had darker denim, but it wasn’t black and none of them were cropped like Claudia’s.

I finally found the perfect match at the last store on my list. Although of course at the beginning of my hunt I knew it should have been my first, but ya live and ya learn, ya know? Good ol’ Nordstrom Rack had it for only $40 and the brand is Abound.

The shorts I picked up at Goodwill for only $8. As you can tell, I rely a lot on thrift stores for shorts. Shorts these days are made for thin models, and your girl has a bit of a booty. So those tiny shorts do not work for me. Thrift stores always have something that’s cute and fits perfectly.

In total I only spent $100 on this entire outfit, and I’ve already received so many compliments on it.

Thank you, Claudia, for being the perfect girl crush and providing me with the cutest outfit of all.

Until next time, my little fashionista’s….
