It’s sad but true. You have way too much clothes and not enough room.

1). TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF YOUR CLOSET.
Like seriously. You won’t know what you have until you cover your ENTIRE bed with all your clothes. It’s just part of the process, trust me.
Now, that wasn’t so bad. Now the hard part.
2). Ask yourself these questions
Have you worn it in the last 12 months? Things tend to hang around in your closet that you totally forget about.
If you saw it again in a store would you buy it again? If not, then into the giveaway pile it goes.
Do you LOVE how it looks on you? No? Too baggy or uncomfortable? Toss it.
3). Use the “Hanger trick”
It’s pretty simple. After a few months check the hangers and see which hangers are facing away from you. Those are your most worn pieces of clothes. Those that haven’t been touched in 6 months- 1 year, give away.
4). Create good and bad piles
You should have a sizable pile of clothes you want to keep and another of the ones you don’t want anymore. The clothes you aren’t feeling anymore you should donate to your local shelter, Goodwill, thrift store or a women’s shelter.
6.) Host a clothing swap
Gather your besties, girls from class, or any after school club and host a clothing swap! Pick a time and tell everyone to meet bringing all their unwanted clothes, shoes, jewelry, or anything else, and swap clothes!
