1. Lace Up Heels

These heels put the emphasis on the ankle, while glamming up your gams. Pair with a mini skirt or bodycon dress for a night out with the squad, or some skinnies for a more casual look. ALDO, $28.

2. The Slingback

The slingback shoe is literally a sartorial sling back to another era: the early 2000s. The slingback shoe is a classic retro look that goes perf with trousers or a midi skirt. Nordstrom, $100.

3. White Sneaker

Nothing screams “cool” more than the white sneaker. From jeans to athleisure to a cute summer dress, it’s the ultimate street shoe that makes every #OOTD radder. This particular one is an updated look from the ’70s, which means it’s also an investment that won’t go out of style. Adidas, $75.

4. Platform Sandals

Here’s another retro look that is totally on trend: platforms. These super cool shoes will help you rock every outfit (plus they’re the answer to petite girl’s prayers). They go perf with a pair of short shorts or wear them with a baby doll dress for the ultimate ’90s look. Steve Madden, $75.

5. Sock Boots

Though you might not be able to get a pair of Yeezy’s, a pair of sock boots is the next best thing. These ultra comfy shoes go perf with a pair of faux leather leggings and a tee, or finish off a cool athleisure outfit. Forever 21, $35.

6. Toe Ring Sandal

Another flashback from the ’90s is the toe ring sandal. This glitzy version of the shoe means it’s perf for both lazy days at the beach and flirty date nights. Wear yours with everything from ruffled dresses to cut-offs — and don’t forget to pair with a bright new pedi. Zappos, $50.

7. Glove Pump

The glove pump is the updated sister of the ballerina pump. It boasts a low block heel and an elongated round toe, which gives it both a minimalist and comfy feel (bonus: they’re sturdier to walk in, too!). Wear with a boho dress or a pair of distressed jeans for a touch of elegance. Zara, $90.

8. The Kitten Heel

The kitten heel that reigned the ’80s is back and reminding us why it’s so purrfect. With both sleek and casual versions available, it’s the perf heel to dress up with a cute LBD or to dress down with a pair of fitted joggers. Macy’s, $100.
