Michael Anthony shared his sketches of his collection on Instagram and it features chic and super stylish gowns of princesses including Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Mulan, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Merida, and more. Each of the designs are so modern and totally slay, but they also have aspects from the traditional Disney princesses that we all first fell in love with.

Michael Anthony talked with Digital Spy about how his designs show the impact that Disney projects have had on fans as well as himself. He said, “Take my Princess Leia sketch for example – besides the fact that I’m a huge Star Wars and Carrie Fisher fan, Princess Leia was the first true kick-butt princess that we had. She inspired a lot of girls to be independent and strong. I want to reflect that in my designs.” Talk about some awesome female empowerment!

We totally can’t stop looking at all of Michael Anthony’s outstanding designs, but it looks like we are in luck as he isn’t stopping at just Disney princesses. In fact, he currently is working on a “Wizard of Oz” collection.

He also told Digital Spy, “Right now, I’m working on a Wizard of Oz mini-collection and am thinking of branching out to superhero and Marvel-inspired couture clothes too.”

With New York Fashion Week recently taking place, we can totally picture seeing some of Michael Anthony’s designs during the next fashion week and on the runway!
