You had an endless amount of things to do and the time during the day went by faster than you can even say “Pizza rolls.” Now that you’ve finally finished everything on your “To-Do” list, it’s time to take some time for yourself and just relax. There’s one thing, though – what exactly can you do to relax yourself after a long and busy day?

1. Have a relaxing bath with a bath bomb
They’re not only meant for that excellent Instagram photo you posted, they’re really meant to calm you down! After a hectic day, there is no better way to settle down than with a warm bath, a beautiful colored bath bomb and some candles.

2. Listen to some music
Music speaks louder than words. One of the greatest ways to relax after a long day is by listening to some of your favorite songs. Music is basically everyone’s feel-good medicine!
3. Do yoga
Not only is yoga an incredible workout, but it’s also the greatest thing to do for your mind, body, and soul. Between the yoga poses and of course, meditating, yoga will bring you peace both mentally and physically.

Another way to relax is to take time and just write! It can be in a diary or even on a Tumblr blog, wherever you put your words down, it’s always a nice thing to write down everything that is on your mind.
5. Cuddle with a pet
Netflix and chill… with your pet! The best cuddle buddy anyone can have is their pet, so if you have one, enjoy relaxing with your furry friend.
6. Read a good book
Make yourself a cup of tea and sit back and relax with a good book. Reading is food for the brain and soul and what better way to relax than by entering in another world through a fascinating book!
7. Chat with a family member or a friend
One way to relieve all of your stress is by talking to a family member or a friend. It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that there is always someone who is there for you, whether it be in person or even chatting through FaceTime.
Did you know there is such a thing as laughter therapy where people join together in a room and just laugh for hours? Yes, it’s a thing and we totally want to join in! Laughter can make anyone and everyone feel better, so whether it’s sharing jokes with a friend or going on a hilarious meme Instagram account, laughing can relax you in no time!
9. Think positive thoughts
One of the biggest things that is probably causing you stress are the things that are worrying you the most. Will you be able to finish packing for your vacation on time? Will you get that internship you’ve always wanted? Always think positive thoughts because you will instantaneously feel a whole lot better, a lot more calm, and you will have a new outlook on any situation!
10. Take a social media break
Okay, we all love social media but one fantastic way to relax yourself is by taking a social media break. Despite how amazing social media can be, it can also get stressful sometimes! (Why isn’t my selfie getting a lot of likes? UGH.) Put your phone down for a little while and allow yourself to relax from the social media world.
