We have a bittersweet relationship when it comes to online shopping. Sweet because we love all of the fabulous, new items we bought, and bitter because #MoMoneyMoProblems. It all starts off with pressing “Add to cart” and now we have several, amazing, new items we’ve always wanted!

Here are 7 stages of online shopping we all go through:
1. Your new obsession
Somehow you came across this awesome, new online retailer either through your friend or while you were scrolling through social media. Basically this website is your new obsession that has all of the clothes you’ve desired, and the rest is history (so is your allowance!).

2. Just looking around
“I’m only going to look around” you said. Then you saw that the website offers an “Over $50 purchase you get the shipping free” deal and you start seriously thinking about getting something.
3. Add to cart
Oh, those three words that always get us in trouble – “Add to cart.” You start adding several things into your online cart, you can always take them out later right?
4. Spending hours on the online store
Remember all of those things you had to do? You can forget about them because you spent so many hours on this website online shopping. #SorryNotSorry
5. Buying way more than you planned
Total = too much for your bank account. How did adding a couple of things end up reaching hundreds of dollars? You try to take a few items out of your online cart, but it’s just so hard to part ways with everything you’ve come to love online.
6. Shopper’s guilt
You totally feel bad about spending that much money on all the stuff you bought, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself!
7. Arrival day
It’s here, it’s really here! There is nothing better than the sweet smell of a package at your door with your name on it. It’s time to open it up, try on all of the clothing and make a new haul video for your YouTube channel.
