10 Christmas Movie Premieres You Should Go to With Your Family

Awesomeness continues after advertisement

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — for movies, that is. This year’s holiday 2017 big-screen lineup proves Hollywood really does save the best for last.

Aside from Chinese restaurants, movie theaters are one of the few places actually open on Christmas Day, so why not make a tradition out of seeing a movie with your family? After gathering around the tree early in the morning to open presents, head on over to the theater nearest you for a matinée showing. (If you ask us, you don’t even need to change out of your pajamas.)

One thing to note: Since Christmas is on a Monday this year, most of the premieres didn’t land exactly on the holiday. From Pitch Perfect 3 to Stars Wars: The Last Jedi, the majority of movies will drop a few days or weeks beforehand, but at least that means you’re guaranteed a chance to see them while you’re on break.
