You heard that right. A 19-year-old student, Skye Morris, who attends San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas, just recently shared her father’s way of coping with his little girl growing up. Skye took to Twitter to share her hilarious experience.
Yep, that’s Skye’s dad up there. Here’s how it all started. Skye was inoccently walking to her car after class when she received this text from her dad.

So how did Skye react? “I thought it was hilarious. I just looked up laughing and waved back,” she revealed to Elite Daily.
To be fair to her pops, the reason her father, Jay, was on the roof was because he works for the college and was doing a roof inspection. The Internet, however, still found it hilarious and ran with it, taking to Twitter with the same “this is so my parents” sentiment.
Skye’s original tweet soon went viral, and her dad was absolutely tickled by it.
