Anyway, now that our favorite Timberlake gif must be stored away until next April, it’s time to move onto May (aka the month before summer). To get you into the soon-to-be summer spirit, here are this month’s music, movie, and must-haves.

Movies:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Our favorite leading man (Chris Pratt) will we hitting theaters will our favorite furry creature (Rocket Racoon) May 5. In the sequel to the box-office hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, the gang tries the keep the fam together as they attempt to figure out the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage in the outer reaches of the galaxy.

 

Everything, Everything 

Grab the tissues and your BFF! If you’re a Fault In Our Stars kind of guy or gal, this one’s for you. Everything, Everything follows a girl that can’t go outside because of her life-threatening allergies. Everything begins to change, however, when she starts falling for her neighbor. This heartfelt coming of age movie hits theaters May 19th.

 

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales 

Wait…there’s ANOTHER Pirates of the Caribbean film coming out?! Yes, the fifth to be exact. And we don’t even care what it’s about, Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, and Johnny Depp will be there, and that’s enough for us. If you do care, however, Jack Sparrow does not have a good feeling when his nemesis Capt. Salazar escapes from the Devil’s Triangle. Oh, Capt. Salazar also has a gang of dead ghost sailors to back him up. The 5th installment hits theaters May 26th.

 

Music:

Harry Styles, Harry Styles 

Mark your calendars in Sharpie, Harry Styles’ debut solo album will be released on May 12th. We’ve already heard two of the album’s tracks, “Ever Since New York” and “Sign of the Times.” Check out the meaning behind “Sing of the Times” here.

 

Lana Del ReyLust for Life 

It’s been almost two years since we’ve heard new music from Lana Del Ray. Her new album, Lust for Life, which marks her fourth album to date, will be released on May 26th. The first single, which shares the album’s name, was released in February. And here’s the best part; it was a collab with The Weeknd.

 

Zac Brown Band, Welcome Home

If soulful country music is your thing (and it should be), Zac Brown Band will be releasing their new album, Welcome Home, on May 12. Have a listen to its first single.

 

Must-Haves 

Tickets to Show of The Summer

Get your tickets to the ultimate pop fest now! Our favorites, Camila Cabello, Jacob Sartorius, and Alex Aiono, will be there! And that’s just to name a few. Tickets went on sale April 28th, so jump on it! The shows take place in August in two cities, Chicago, IL and Hershey, PA.
