Carrie Bradshaw famously once said: “Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with,” which is something we can get on board with. You know you and your best friend are super close. You’re so close, you’re basically one person. But are you two actually, really, soulmates?

Here are five signs to help you find out.
1. No One Makes You LOL More

You two share the exact same sense of humor, it’s almost scary. You constantly make each other ROFL with your wacky inside jokes and weird funny accents. The belly laughs are endless with you two, and you know exactly which funny buttons to push, including what crazy GIF to send her next.
2. You Talk All Day, Everyday
You see each other at school, after school, and on the weekends, bingeing out on Netflix together. And, of course, you text and Snap each other constantly. Yet somehow you NEVER run out of things to say. It’s actually weird when you don’t hear from them every five minutes, so much so that you usually send an SOS message asking, “R U OK?!”
3. You’re Basically Telepathic
Your non verbals with each other are on point. You know when the other is sad, angry or self-conscious just by a single look. In fact, you don’t even have to be in the same room to know that something’s off with your BFF – your twinsie vibe is that strong.
4. You’ve Seen Each Other At Your Worst (And Still Love Each Other)
From sending ugly selfie Snaps to seeing her endure an ugly cry session after a breakup, you’ve seen each other at your worst. You can even fight and scream with each other – like the time she borrowed your fave shirt without asking or when you accidentally smashed her iPhone screen – but you always make up and love each other even more afterwards.
5. You Put Each Other First
Boyfriends always feel like the third wheel whenever they’re around the two of you. In fact, you don’t understand when people call their boyfriend is their “best friend” because you can’t imagine ever being close to anyone other than your BFF. You know boyfriends come and go, but your best girlfriend is forever.
