When news broke that Camila Cabello was leaving Fifth Harmony, we were equally excited and devastated, but the excitement definitely won out in the long run. Now Camila is truly out on her own and the rest of 5H is thriving as a foursome, so it’s the definition of a win-win.

As Teen Vogue reports, Camila has been featured on several tracks, like Shawn Mendes’ “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s “Bad Things,” and J Balvin and Pitbull’s Spanish- and English-language versions of “Hey Ma.”
But Camila’s solo sound has still been a mystery—until now. The singer has finally dropped her debut solo track, “Crying in the Club,” and it’s proof that she’s got a sound all her own.

This track makes us want to get up and dance and it’s already an early contender for song of the summer, but we can’t wait to hear the rest of Camila’s solo work when her debut album, The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving is released. Waiting not-at-all-patiently for that to happen.
