The two have come together for Fifty Shades Darker

It’s here. It’s finally here. Just when you thought Taylor Swift wouldn’t be releasing any music as a vocalist in 2016, she surprises us in true T-Swift form. Thursday night, Taylor Swift and former One Direction God, Zayn, took to Instagram to release their collab “I Don’t Want to Live Forever.” The (I’m sure) soon to be hit–co-written by Swift, Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew–will be featured in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.

The single is sultry yet pop-y. It makes you want to get up and dance and reminisce about that rough patch with your ex all in the same moment (so…basically brilliant). Take a listen.

We haven’t heard new music from Zayn since last March when he released Mind of Mine; and while Taylor has been writing hits for Little Big Town (Better Man) and her ex (This Is What You Came For), we’re hoping this means we’ll be hearing more from both of them very soon.
