There’s no question that Pretty Little Liars is everyone’s favorite TV show, so now that the show is coming to an end with its final few episodes, we seriously don’t know what else to do with ourselves. Can you hear us crying right now?!

Well PLL fans, have no fear as it looks like this might not be the end of those Rosewood adventures because a very special project could be in the works. The genius behind Pretty Little Liars, none other than I. Marlene King recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight that a Pretty Little Liars spin-off series could very much so happen.

When asked about the chance of a spin-off series, I. Marlene King said, “It’s definitely a possibility. It’s not a for sure thing, but there’s some ideas swirling around out there. Everybody knows I love this world. I love to play in this world and I love these characters, so it would be fun to keep a few of them moving forward in their lives.”

Okay, we totally cannot keep our chill over this and we’ll definitely be the show’s biggest fans. I. Marlene King was also asked about if she has an idea on which characters’ lives she would like to explore in the series. She responded by saying, “Yeah, but I’m not going to say just yet who those characters might be.”

However, it looks like the cast-members of PLL are totally on board with the idea of a spin-off and they actually spilled on who they would like to see the show focus on. Lucy Hale right away revealed that she would like the spin-off to be about Alison. She said to Vulture, “I think you have so many places you could go because [she has] such a messed up past.” Sasha Pieterse, who plays the role of Alison, added on and said, “as much as [Alison’s] grown, she’s still very unstable.”

We’re definitely going to miss seeing Pretty Little Liars on our TV screens, but the hopes of having a spin-off is totally something we’re looking forward to. It isn’t a secret, we really want this spin-off series to happen.
