Taylor Swift’s New Single Is Here and It’s Unlike Anything She’s Done Before

Taylor Swift is officially BACK. After creatively teasing us on Instagram for days, the singer finally released her new single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” last night. And WOW. The lyric video for the song is incredible, with Hitchcock-inspired animations that perfectly accompany the sharp lyrics (which, btw, cut deep — like a snake bite).

It’s also full of snake imagery, no doubt a nod to the snake emojis her Instagram was flooded with after her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West came to a head in 2016. The song itself is full of not-so-subtle references to Kimye, like her lyric about not liking someone’s tilted stage:

Then, she also teased that Reputation will be more than just an album — it will be a magazine too. Actually two magazines.

There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation.
