Yale’s admission essay prompt asked potential students to write about something they were passion about, and our new hero, Carolina, stayed true to herself and penned a humorous essay about her love for ordering Papa John’s pizza.

Not only did the Internet eat up her essay, Yale’s admissions staff devoured it as well. Carolina received handwritten letters expressing their love for her candid words and, of course, their shared passion for a good ole slice.

“… as a fellow lover of pizza, I laughed out loud (then ordered pizza) after reading your application,” an admissions officer wrote. “I kept thinking that you are the kind of person that I would love to be best friends with,” another note read.

From the tweet, it looks like it was more of an application question as opposed to the main essay prompt, but either way, take notes; if you’re honest about who you are, it will take you places, even Yale.
