The Jonas Brothers are proving that family always comes first, no matter what. Their father, Kevin Jonas Sr., was diagnosed with colon cancer in March and he says that all of his sons dropped everything to be with him immediately, Refinery 29 reports.

“Frankie came home from school, Nick came from L.A., Joe flew directly from Japan,” their dad said. “They canceled their schedules…moved important things.”

Kevin, the oldest Jonas Brother, lives closer to home than Nick and Joe since he’s retired from the spotlight and now works in real estate and lives a quiet life with his wife and two daughters.

All of the brothers made sure they were there for their dad as he went into surgery at Sloane Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, he says.

“They stayed with us, last meal before surgery,” he said. “They walked me into Sloan Kettering, which created a little bit of a stir.”

While he still has chemotherapy to undergo, Papa Jonas says his prognosis is good. We’re keeping the whole Jonas family in our thoughts.
