Zendaya Literally Learned Trapeze for Her Next Movie Role

Zendaya is dedicated to her craft. The actress learned an impressive new skill for her latest movie—trapeze. Sadly, Z’s acrobatic skills aren’t going to be put to use in Spider-Man: Homecoming (at least not as far as we know…). They’re actually for The Greatest Showman, which costars megastars like Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron (swooooooon).

Zendaya spent months learning her new skills, but it was well worth it—she plays trapeze artist Anne Wheeler in the film, after all.

“It was amazing,” she said. “I spent months trapeze training, which is not something I said or thought I could do. So there you go! You can see that I did it. I did as much as I could and it was so much fun. I learned different things that I could actually do and take it there.”

We’re not shocked that Z was able to pick up her acrobatic skills so quickly though—she’s an amazing dancer (remember Shake It Up, and Dancing With the Stars?) and that kind of body control has to transfer over.

Just a little more proof that Zendaya is QUEEN.
